Hmmm.. tasty!

We had our 1st annual crawfish boil this past weekend, and it was a blast!

As you may know, I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, but now live in the Lone-Star state; so I’ve been longing for some good ole-fashioned crawdads. My wife and I were finally able to host a crawfish boil, and the experience was great! I wasn’t really sure what I was doing, but it wasn’t that difficult once I got started. Lessons Learned: throw in a ton of spices!

The 1st batch was a bit bland, so I kicked it up a notch (as Emeril would say). The 2nd & 3rd batch was much better. Anyway… if you are thinking about throwing a crawfish boil, DO IT! It’s a blast. Feel free to hit me up and ask any questions. I was able to get all the spices and material locally here in Austin so it wasn’t that difficult at all (the price per lb of crawfish was a bit pricey, but worth it).
